FOUNDATIONS Course is the first step in the Dance Your Ability pathway. It is a prerequisite for the Facilitation Training and does not in itself certify you as a Dance Your Ability facilitator.

This course offers an introduction to the principles and practices of inclusive, embodied movement. It is designed to help you understand how we create welcoming, and accessible dance spaces where people of all abilities can move, express, and belong.

If you are already a facilitator, teacher, therapist, or group leader, this course can support you in integrating movement and dance into your existing work and programs. If you are new to facilitation and feel called to lead movement spaces, this course prepares you to continue into our Facilitation Training.

By the end of this course, you will have a strong foundation in the Dance Your Ability format - a method of creating inclusive movement spaces.
