Music for Life

A specialized music & movement program for those living with dementia.

Music has extraordinary therapeutic benefits, as well as being a great source of comfort and reassurance. Dr. Oliver Sacks, neuroscientist and author, states that "music brings back the feeling of life when nothing else can." Music plays a key role in enhancing the lives of people living with dementia as well as helps in the alleviation of apathy.

Movement for Self Care

A program featuring classes & workshops for teens, including those at-risk and with mixed abilities.

Using facilitated free movement & conscious dance to allow for slowing down and noticing what is going on inside of oneself, and then stepping out into the group body and noticing how it is to be part of the collective, we hold space for teens as they navigate the stresses, anxieties and difficult situations of everyday life.

Move it!

For tots to pre-teen.

Move it! offers kids an opportunity to have fun moving to music in a group setting. There are no steps to learn, but rather a facilitated conscious dance space for kids to experience themselves in motion and self-expression, while learning how to do that in a group of their peers. Partner & circle work combined with lots of free expression create an environment where ALL are invited to fully be themselves.

Dance to the Music

Classes & Programs for our Elder Years population.

Encouraging movement and connection via the use of strengthening exercises, free expression, collective movements and great generational music, often with the use of chairs.  As our bodies begin to age there can be a tendency to withdraw and separate oneself. By coming together and moving with what is, aches & pains included, we are able to tap into our important place in the group's collective joy.
